Front Office Associate – Dermatology & Mohs Surgery

Colorado Center for Dermatology & Skin Surgery is a doctor-owned, multi-location practice dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care through well-defined systems and high standards. We value professionalism, responsiveness, and consistent follow-through.

We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Patient Access Associate to support our patient intake and administrative workflows. This entry-level position is primarily based in our Centennial, CO office.

Key Responsibilities
Patient Intake & Check-In: Warmly greet patients, manage intake workflows, and register new patients while maintaining strict data accuracy.

Scheduling & Calendar Management: Accurately book patient appointments strictly following established provider templates and guidelines.

Insurance Verification: Check patient insurance eligibility, verify benefits, and accurately enter coverage details into our system.

Payment Processing: Collect co-pays, balance payments, and patient fee responsibilities at check-in with accuracy and discretion.

System & EHR Support: Maintain reliable, error-free clinical records and patient documentation across practice management systems.

Communication & Coordination: Collaborate smoothly with providers, medical assistants, and our centralized call center team to keep daily clinic flow running on schedule.

The Ideal Candidate
Experience: 1+ year of experience in an administrative, receptionist, front office, or customer service role (medical office experience is a plus, but not required!).

Administrative Aptitude: High attention to detail, strong data entry accuracy, and comfort navigating software systems.

Process-Minded: Comfortable adhering to established procedures, structured workflows, and standardized checklists.

Communication Skills: Clear, professional, and empathetic communication—both in person and over the phone.

Accountability: Reliable attendance, strong work ethic, and the personal initiative to follow tasks through to completion.

Compensation & Growth
Starting range: $20–24/hour (based on relevant experience)
Performance and compensation are formally reviewed annually, with additional growth opportunities based on demonstrated mastery and contribution.

Primary location: Centennial, CO. Occasional coverage/training at Littleton and/or Longmont offices
