Job Overview
Brand New Pediatric Private Practice (Family Owned) looking for someone to join our team. The ideal Front Desk Receptionist would be someone who wants to be a part of building something new. Must love working with kids, great energy, positive attitude and great initiative. This position has the opportunity for growth.
This role is essential in providing excellent customer service as you will be the first point of contact. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Duties
Greet patients and visitors with a warm and friendly attitude.
Manage incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate personnel.
Schedule appointments and maintain an organized calendar.
Handle patient check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details.
Maintain accurate filing systems for patient records and office documents.
Utilize medical software systems such as Denticon administrative tasks.
Perform 10 key typing for data entry and record management.
Assist with general office management tasks to ensure smooth operations.
Provide medical administrative support as needed.
Experience
Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred but not required.
Strong customer service skills with a focus on patient care.
Familiarity with medical software systems (Denticon, Dental X Change) is a plus.
Proficient in 10 key typing and general office management practices.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
