Front Office Receptionist/Patient Coordinator

We are seeking a front office receptionist/patient coordinator for our periodontal office located in Hillcrest. We are a specialty office and offer a variety of procedures to patients to assist with their periodontal needs. We need someone who is friendly, efficient, and who has the ability to multi-task. We are a paperless office, so you must be proficient with computers.

Job Duties Include:
Resolving patient issues.

Greeting and checking in patients.

Checking patient insurance information.

Assist in keeping the office clean and organized.

Taking payments and following up on any collections.

Assist the Doctor and back-office staff with tasks if needed.

Must have the ability to troubleshoot problems on your own.

Answering the phone, checking & replying to emails and our utilizing our patient communication app.

Scheduling patients for all appointments, as well as following up with patients who did not schedule treatment.

Combing the weekly schedule and collecting necessary information for patient appointments.

What We Are Looking For:
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work well in a team environment and independently.

Familiarity with Open Dental software (preferred but not required)
Our office is open from Tuesday - Friday weekly.
