What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. In this vital role, you will serve as the face of our practice, ensuring that every patient feels welcomed, informed, and valued. You will play a key part in delivering a seamless and positive experience, from the moment a patient walks in the door to the completion of their treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome and Greet Patients: Acknowledge patients with a friendly smile and provide exceptional service from their arrival to departure.
Financial Coordination: Calculate patient co-pays, present financial obligations, and collect payments in a timely and efficient manner. Help create financial solutions, including payment plans and lines of credit, to facilitate treatment.
Insurance Verification: Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits, ensuring accurate information is provided to the clinical team and patients.
Scheduling and Treatment Coordination: Schedule patient appointments, maintain a well-organized and profitable schedule, and efficiently manage last-minute cancellations.
Patient Inquiries: Respond to phone, email, and in-person inquiries from patients, providing clear and accurate information regarding treatment options and financial matters.
Patient Progress Tracking: Maintain accurate records of patient treatment progress and present detailed reports to the clinical team as needed.
Additional Administrative Tasks: Assist with other administrative duties to support the smooth operation of the practice.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
Dental Office Experience: Proven experience in a dental office or medical setting, particularly in patient coordination or reception.
Exceptional Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with patients, staff, and insurance companies.
Excellent Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills, a friendly demeanor, and a commitment to creating positive patient experiences.
Multitasking & Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a busy, fast-paced environment.
Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with dental management software (Dentrix experience is a plus), and ability to quickly adapt to new systems and tools.
Team Player: A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to collaborate with a diverse, supportive team to provide the best care possible for our patients.
