ABOUT THIS ROLE
This is not a typical assisting job. The Orthodontic Assistant is a premier clinical and patient experience role, chairside partner to the doctor and a steady, reassuring presence for every patient in the chair.

Chairside orthodontic assisting
Digital workflows, including intraoral scanning and CBCT support
3D printing and digital lab support
Orthodontic records and patient education
Assisting with advanced procedures and appliances
Sterilization and clinical organization
Supporting and improving clinical systems and SOPs
Contributing to an exceptional patient experience
Team training and continuous improvement initiatives

COMPENSATION PHILOSOPHY
At Synergi, we don’t aim to be average, and we don’t hire average. All new hires begin at a rate based on experience and skill level, with rapid growth tied to performance.
Our goal is for every Orthodontic Assistant to reach or exceed $33+/hour within roughly two years or faster, as they grow into a high-level clinical contributor. This is earned through skill, ownership, and consistent excellence. It is not automatic.
We’re looking for people who want to be the best in the field, take ownership of their role, and thrive in a culture of accountability, feedback, and continuous improvement. PAY & BENEFITS
Starting Pay: $26 – $29/hour for licensed candidates (RDA or Orthodontic Assistant Certification), plus monthly bonus opportunities.
$25/hour for unlicensed candidates who commit to completing Orthodontic Assistant certification within 90 days of hire.

401(k), 100% match up to 3%, 50% match on 4–5%

REQUIREMENTS
Genuine, demonstrable orthodontic assisting experience — all candidates complete a hands-on skills assessment as part of our interview process
BLS certification (or obtained within 90 days)
X-ray certification (or obtained within 120 days)
Reliable transportation and ability to commute
Commitment to HIPAA/OSHA standards
Licensure:
RDA or Orthodontic Assistant Certification required for our top pay tier
Candidates without current certification may be considered if committed to completing Orthodontic Assistant certification within 90 days of hire
Bonus (not required):
Experience with digital scanning or in-house 3D printing
Spanish or Chinese speaking
