Job Summary
We are a friendly, private dental practice conveniently located near Midway Airport seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team.
We are looking for either:
Part-Time: Mondays and Fridays, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Full-Time: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Duties:
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to foster long-term dental health.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring proper technique and safety protocols are followed.
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records within Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems such as Eaglesoft.
Manage infection prevention protocols by sterilizing equipment, adhering to aseptic techniques, and ensuring a safe clinical environment.
Provide a positive, caring experience for every patient.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient care.
Requirements:
Valid dental hygiene license in accordance with state regulations.
Proven experience with dental software platforms such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
Ability to perform dental x-ray procedures safely while maintaining patient comfort.
Excellent communication skills for client interaction and patient education.
Knowledge of infection control standards, healthcare regulations (including HIPAA), and medical records management.
