About the Role:
Smiles of Canada is seeking a skilled and motivated Level II Dental Assistant to join our team in St. John’s / Torbay, NL. We are a busy and growing dental office committed to providing high-quality patient care in a professional and supportive environment.
Location: 1296 Torbay Rd, Torbay, NL A1K 1B2
Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during procedures
Take and process dental X-rays
Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories
Maintain infection control protocols
Ensure patient comfort during treatment
Assist with impressions and other clinical tasks
Requirements:
Level II Dental Assistant certification
Previous dental experience is required
Experience with Invisalign cases is required
Experience with sedation dentistry is required
Experience with intraoral scanning/digital scanning is required
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Team-oriented and reliable
