Dental Hygienist
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our professional dental team. The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong commitment to patient care, clinical excellence, and the promotion of optimal oral health. This role requires a compassionate approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive dental hygiene procedures, including scaling, root planing, and polishing, in accordance with established clinical protocols
Conduct thorough patient assessments by reviewing medical histories and recording vital signs
Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment recommendations
Assist dentists during procedures utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques to ensure efficiency and patient comfort
Accurately document patient information and treatment plans using dental practice management software (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dentrix)
Adhere to strict infection control and sterilization standards in compliance with regulatory guidelines
Collaborate effectively with dentists and team members to deliver high-quality patient care, including services for pediatric patients as needed
Maintain current knowledge of dental hygiene practices, industry standards, and clinical terminology
Qualifications
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
Active state licensure as a Dental Hygienist
Proficiency in dental hygiene procedures and understanding of clinical best practices
Experience with dental software systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix preferred
Knowledge of pediatric dentistry and HIPAA compliance standards
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered focus
Ability to maintain professionalism, organization, and efficiency in a clinical setting
