Full Time Dental Receptionist

Luminous Dental Centre is a family owned, non-corporate practice that has proudly served the community for over 40 years as Dr. Gavin Chu Inc. We are proud of our supportive, team-orientated culture and the longstanding relationships we've built with both our patients and staff.

We are hiring a Full Time Dental Receptionist. The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience in a busy Canadian Dental Office, and is comfortable using Tracker and Recall Max. We are also willing to train an exceptional recent graduate from an accredited Canadian Dental Reception program.

Please note, your application will not be considered if you do not have Canadian Dental Reception experience or have recently graduated from a Canadian Dental Reception Program. Applicants that do not meet one of these requirements will not be considered.

We are open Monday - Friday with one Saturday per month.

Responsibilities:

- Welcome and check in patients with a friendly, professional attitude

- Answer phone calls and mange the appointment schedule

- Verify insurance coverage and process payments accurately

- Submit insurance claims and assist with treatment estimates

- Coordinate referrals and maintain accurate patient records

- Support the clinical team to ensure efficient daily operations
Qualifications:

- Experience with Tracker, and Recall Max is a strong asset

- Minimum one year of Canadian Dental Reception Experience

- Knowledge of dental terminology, insurance billing, and procedure codes

- Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills

- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment

- Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively within a team
