Job Description
Our respected, well-established dental office near Kearny Mesa is looking for an experienced Treatment Coordinator to join our team.
What We Offer:
Pay range: $32–$35/hour, based on experience and skill level
Medical, dental, and vision coverage
Paid time off, including vacation and sick days
401(k) with 4% company match
Eligibility for our team-wide monthly bonus incentive
We're looking for someone with 3–5 years of hands-on treatment planning experience who takes initiative to keep the schedule full, stays organized under pressure, and juggles multiple priorities with ease. You'll also need to represent our office culture well and keep patient care and honesty at the center of everything you do.
In return, you'll get a competitive wage, a supportive and upbeat team environment, and the opportunity to work alongside a talented group of clinicians and staff.
What You'll Do:
Patient-Facing Duties
Act as the go-to contact for patients regarding treatment plans, walking them through proposed procedures and answering PPO coverage questions
Coordinate with insurance providers to obtain benefit breakdowns, helping patients understand what they owe and what's covered
Office & Administrative Duties
Keep multiple tasks moving at once — including chart audits and scanning
Help patients update their medical history and contact details
Get digital charts ready ahead of the next day's patient visits
Step in to fill last-minute cancellations or schedule gaps
Show up each day with a positive, approachable attitude
Be dependable and consistent in your day-to-day performance
Comfortably navigate various software and tools used in the office
What You Bring:
REQUIRED: 3–5 years of experience coordinating treatment in a dental office setting
REQUIRED: Proficiency with Eaglesoft
Strong grasp of dental terminology
Working knowledge of ADA codes
Comfort with PPO insurance processes
A knack for creating great patient experiences
If patient care is your passion and this sounds like a fit, we'd love to connect with you!
