Full-Time General Dentist – Medicaid/DentaQuest Credentialing Provided

Established, high-volume dental practice in the Bronx is seeking a Full-Time General Dentist for a long-term associate position.

This is an opportunity for a dentist who wants to step into an existing busy schedule and established patient base, rather than having to build a patient base from scratch. Our practice has approximately 24,000 patients with significant ongoing restorative, prosthetic, endodontic, and surgical treatment needs.

We are looking for a dentist who is clinically confident, efficient, dependable, and comfortable working in a busy general dentistry setting. Three or more years of general dentistry experience is preferred, but dentists at all experience levels will be considered.

Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive, periodic, and emergency dental examinations
Diagnose dental conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans
Provide restorative treatment, including fillings, crowns, and bridges
Perform removable prosthodontic treatment, including dentures and partial dentures
Perform simple and surgical extractions within the dentist's training and abilities
Perform root canal therapy and other endodontic procedures when clinically appropriate
Provide same-day treatment when clinically appropriate
Maintain complete, accurate, and timely clinical documentation
Work cooperatively with dental assistants, front-desk staff, billing staff, and the existing dentist
Qualifications
DDS or DMD degree
Active and unrestricted New York State dental license
Active individual NPI
Current enrollment with New York State Medicaid and DentaQuest is not required
Must be willing and eligible to enroll with New York State Medicaid and DentaQuest
Must be eligible to affiliate with our group and Bronx service location
Strong diagnostic and treatment-planning skills
Comfortable working efficiently in a busy practice
Experience with restorative dentistry, crown and bridge, removable prosthodontics, extractions, and endodontics preferred
Reliable, professional, and interested in a long-term full-time position
Credentialing / Start Date
Candidates who are not currently enrolled with NY Medicaid and DentaQuest are welcome to apply. The selected dentist will need to complete the required enrollment and affiliation process before beginning employment.

Anticipated start date is approximately 90 days after selection, depending on completion of Medicaid and DentaQuest credentialing.

Monday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
Tuesday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
Thursday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM–3:00 PM
Wednesdays and Sundays off
Compensation
Guaranteed $2,350 per week for the first 30 days, with the opportunity to earn more based on production. Compensation details will be discussed during the interview.
