Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front desk operations, providing excellent patient service, and ensuring smooth administrative workflows within our medical or dental office. This role requires strong organizational skills, familiarity with electronic medical records, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and relay messages
Verify patient information and update electronic medical records using systems such as Epic and Dentrix
Process billing or payments as needed
Manage waiting room and appropriate patient bookings
Assist with administrative tasks including , data entry, and document management
Ensure the reception area remains clean, organized, and welcoming
Support other office staff with administrative duties to ensure efficient workflow
Skills
Proven experience as a medical office receptionist with familiarity in EMR Programs
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare office procedures
Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and staff via multi-line phone systems
Proficiency in office software such as Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to handle high-volume patient interactions with professionalism and courtesy
Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
Previous experience working in a fast-paced medical office environment is preferred
Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining accuracy in record keeping and patient interactions
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
