We are a modern, patient-focused dental practice serving the Miller Place community and surrounding areas. LI Sound Dental Solutions has proudly served the Miller Place community since 2015. Our practice is owned by David Kahn and Matthew Kahn, two brothers whose family has been practicing dentistry in the area since the 1970s. Our office is committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care in a comfortable and welcoming environment. We utilize up-to-date technology and prioritize continuing education to ensure the best outcomes for our patients. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the dentist during procedures, ensure patient comfort, and help maintain an efficient patient workflow. Your tasks will include taking digital X-rays, managing dental software like Dentrix Ascend, sterilization, charting, minor lab work and providing support to ensure a smooth patient experience.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent with completion of a dental assisting program. Although prior experience in a dental office is preferred, recent graduates from dental assisting programs are encouraged to apply. X-ray training, CPR/BLS certification, strong communication skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and basic computer skills are essential.
