Under the Sea Dentistry for Children is looking for an experienced, dependable, and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our pediatric dental practice!

We're a busy, established pediatric office that values teamwork, positive attitudes, and quality patient care. We're looking for someone with experience who takes initiative and enjoys creating a comfortable, encouraging environment for children and their families.

Our dental assistants are actively involved in patient care! Unlike traditional chairside-only positions, our assistants perform pediatric prophylaxis cleanings daily, take X-rays, provide preventive care, and assist with restorative procedures.

What We're Looking For
Previous dental assisting experience required
Current Washington State Dental Assistant Registration
Pediatric dental experience preferred, but not required
Comfortable performing pediatric prophylaxis cleanings or willing to learn our preventive care workflow
Friendly, patient, and confident when working with children
Dependable, punctual, and committed to consistent attendance
Strong communication and organizational skills
A team player who takes initiative and helps wherever needed
Ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment
Someone interested in a stable, long-term position
Your Daily Responsibilities
Performing pediatric prophylaxis cleanings and preventive care
Taking dental X-rays
Assisting with restorative treatment and pediatric procedures
Preparing and turning over treatment rooms
Helping children feel comfortable and confident during appointments
Communicating with parents and guardians
Maintaining sterilization and infection-control standards
Supporting your teammates to keep the day running smoothly
