Job Description
Overview
We are looking for an Experienced Dental Receptionist with Great Energy to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service . This role requires a Positive demeanor, strong communication skills, the ability to multi task and handle administrative tasks efficiently
Shifts: Mon - Friday + 1 Sat per month - ideal candidate is available to start at 8am
Benefits offered to employee working +30 hrs per wk
Responsibilities:
Greet patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out processes.
Schedule appointments efficiently to maximize the dental office calendar.
Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and handle patient communications effectively.
Verify insurance coverage and assist in patient's understanding of their coverage
Billing and payment processing.
Send, process and follow up with insurance companies regarding claims and pre-authorizations
Ensure the front desk area is organized and welcoming.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth office operations.
Required Experience/Skills
Bringing at least two (2) years of recent experience as a receptionist in a dental practice
Completion of an Accredited Dental Reception Program
Familiar with using Tracker software, with at least one (1) year of experience required
Familiarity with dental terminology and Fully knowledgeable in Dental Billing / Claims procedures
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently both with a team & independently
A genuine passion for helping others and contributing to a positive team culture
