Duties
Perform thorough patient assessments, including dental examinations and medical history reviews, to develop effective treatment plans.
Deliver a wide range of general dentistry services such as dental cleanings, fillings, crowns, and prosthodontics.
Conduct complex procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, and oral surgery with precision and care.
Utilize dental imaging technology and adhere to aseptic techniques to ensure infection control and safety standards are maintained.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and update patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide four-handed dentistry for efficient patient care delivery.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and preventive care to promote long-term oral health.
Experience
Proven experience working in a dental clinic or similar healthcare environment with familiarity in dental office software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control protocols.
Hands-on experience performing general dentistry procedures including dental fabrication and endodontics.
Competency in medical imaging techniques and understanding of medical records management.
Prior experience in pediatric dentistry or working with pediatric patients is a plus.
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs compassionately and thoroughly.
