Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. As a General Associate Dentist, you will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of dental conditions while fostering a welcoming environment for patients. Duties
Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and diagnosis using medical imaging and dental terminology.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans covering procedures such as dental restorations, extractions, endodontics (root canal therapy), prosthodontics, orthodontics, and oral surgery.
Conduct dental procedures adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.
Utilize dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix to document medical records accurately and maintain compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations.
Communicate effectively with patients to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and post-treatment care instructions to ensure understanding and satisfaction.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other team members to provide efficient four-handed dentistry procedures that enhance patient comfort and treatment quality.
Stay current with advancements in general dentistry, including dental implants, pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, and oral surgery techniques.
Maintain high standards of infection control and adhere to all healthcare diagnosis protocols while ensuring the safety of both patients and staff.
Qualifications
Valid state dental license with eligibility to practice general dentistry.
Proven experience in dental office or clinic environments demonstrating proficiency in general dentistry procedures.
Knowledge of dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for medical documentation and record keeping.
Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and healthcare diagnosis processes.
Experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, orthodontics, and oral surgery procedures.
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws governing patient privacy and medical documentation.
Excellent client communication skills with the ability to educate patients on treatment plans effectively.
Commitment to infection control practices and aseptic techniques within a clinical setting.
