Job Description
A growing dental office in San Francisco is seeking a confident and motivated General / Cosmetic Dentist to join the practice.
This is a strong opportunity for a dentist who is comfortable with bread-and-butter general dentistry and wants to grow with an office that is gradually expanding its cash-pay marketing, patient flow, and higher-value treatment offerings.
The office currently serves a mix of Denti-Cal and cash-pay patients, with plans to steadily increase private-pay patient volume through strong marketing, call center support, and patient advisory systems.
Position Overview
We are looking for a dentist who can confidently perform general and cosmetic dentistry, including crowns, fillings, exams, cleanings, extractions, and treatment planning. The ideal candidate should also be proficient in extractions and bone grafting. Implant experience is preferred, but not required.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to help grow a practice, build long-term patient relationships, and be part of an office that is actively expanding.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive general dentistry
Perform exams, diagnosis, treatment planning, fillings, crowns, and restorative care
Provide cosmetic dentistry services as appropriate
Perform cleanings and routine dental procedures
Perform extractions confidently
Perform bone grafting procedures
Place implants if experienced and clinically appropriate
Communicate clearly with patients regarding treatment options
Work alongside the team to support patient experience and case acceptance
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Help support the growth of the office as cash-pay marketing increases
Ideal Candidate
DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
Active California dental license
Confident in general dentistry and restorative treatment
Proficient in extractions
Bone grafting proficiency required
Implant experience preferred
Comfortable treating both Denti-Cal and cash-pay patients
Strong communication and treatment planning skills
Professional, reliable, and growth-minded
Interested in helping build and grow a practice
Compensation
$150,000 – $400,000+ per year depending on experience, schedule, production, and clinical scope.
Position Structure
Full-time or part-time options available.
1099 independent contractor position available.
Flexible structure depending on experience and fit.
