Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities
Perform thorough patient assessments, including dental examinations, medical history reviews, and diagnostic imaging to develop accurate treatment plans.
Deliver a wide range of dental services such as preventive care, restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and implant placements.
Utilize dental terminology effectively to communicate diagnoses and treatment options clearly to patients.
Maintain precise medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations.
Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols rigorously to ensure patient safety during all procedures.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and office staff to provide seamless patient care using four-handed dentistry techniques for efficiency.
Stay current with advancements in dental technology and procedures by participating in ongoing education and training sessions.
Qualifications
Valid state licensure as a General Dentist with current DEA registration if applicable.
Proven experience in general dentistry within a busy dental clinic or office setting.
Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, dental diagnosis, and infection control standards.
Skilled in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, dental implants, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, orthodontics, and pediatric dentistry procedures.
Ability to communicate effectively with patients of diverse backgrounds and explain complex treatments clearly.
Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
