Overview
Join our dynamic dental team as an Associate General Dentist, where your expertise will directly impact patients’ oral health and confidence. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive dental care in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. You will utilize your skills in general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry to deliver exceptional treatment and foster lasting patient relationships. Responsibilities
Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontic treatments.
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews and clinical examinations using medical imaging and dental terminology.
Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient needs while explaining procedures clearly to ensure informed consent.
Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and office protocols.
Utilize dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling, charting, billing, and record keeping.
Adhere to infection control standards and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Collaborate with the dental team to deliver four-handed dentistry efficiently and effectively.
Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term wellness.
Experience
Proven experience working in a dental clinic or dental office setting with familiarity in general dentistry procedures.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, and medical imaging techniques.
Hands-on experience with dental fabrication processes and endodontic procedures such as root canal therapy.
Proficiency in using dental practice management software including Epic (preferred), Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
Background in pediatric dentistry or experience treating pediatric patients is a plus.
Knowledge of infection control protocols and HIPAA compliance is essential for maintaining a safe practice environment.
