Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled General Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. Work hours: 1 or 2 fridays /month or 1 or 2 saturday/month to perform extractions and Root canal therapy. You choose your hours. Payment: 35% of adjusted production and 1-2 nights hotel. We serve all dental insurances and CO medicaid.
Duties
Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, wisdom teeth extractions and root canal therapy
Conduct thorough patient assessments, diagnose dental conditions using medical imaging and dental terminology, and develop personalized treatment plans.
Utilize dental software Eaglesoft, for accurate medical documentation and record-keeping while maintaining compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations.
Ensure infection control through aseptic techniques and proper sterilization procedures in accordance with OSHA standards.
Communicate effectively with patients to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and post-treatment care instructions while fostering client trust and satisfaction.
Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists in four-handed dentistry to optimize workflow efficiency and patient comfort.
Keep detailed records of medical history, dental procedures performed, and follow-up care in accordance with healthcare diagnosis protocols.
Qualifications
Valid state dental license with current certification to practice general dentistry.
Proven experience in dental office or clinic settings with proficiency in oral surgery and endodontics
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques.
Ability to perform complex procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, and oral surgery confidently.
Excellent client communication skills with a focus on patient care and education.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws to ensure compliance at all times.
Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards of care.
