Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. Duties
Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and dental implants.
Conduct thorough patient assessments utilizing medical and dental history reviews, clinical examinations, and diagnostic imaging to develop accurate diagnoses.
Utilize dental terminology effectively to communicate treatment plans clearly to patients and team members.
Maintain detailed and accurate medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws.
Apply infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Use dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for scheduling, charting, billing, and medical documentation management.
Collaborate with the dental team in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care strategies, and post-treatment instructions.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in general dentistry techniques and adhere to all healthcare diagnosis standards and regulations.
Qualifications
Valid state license to practice dentistry with current DEA registration if applicable.
Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental diagnosis, treatment planning, and clinical procedures.
Familiarity with dental software platforms such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical imaging techniques, and infection control standards.
Ability to perform complex procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, endodontics, and implant placement.
Excellent client communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws related to medical records management.
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
Experience in pediatric dentistry or anesthesiology is a plus but not required; however familiarity with pediatric dentistry procedures is advantageous.
