Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide quality dental care to our patients while ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns
- Diagnose and treat oral diseases
- Educate patients on oral health care
- Interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
- Administer anesthetics
- Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants for patient care
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid state dental license
- Excellent clinical skills including four-handed dentistry and aseptic technique
- Proficiency in dental terminology, patient assessment, and infection control
- Familiarity with medical coding systems
- Experience with CAD/CAM technology, similar dental software is a plus
