Floating General Dentist – North Babylon, NY (Nassau & Suffolk County)
Looking for schedule flexibility?
The Smilist Dental is looking for a Floating General Dentist based out of our North Babylon office who wants control over their schedule, their income, and their week — without sacrificing the stability of a growing, well-established DSO.
This role is built for a dentist who thrives on variety and wants to fill gaps in their schedule on their own terms, picking up days across our Nassau and Suffolk County offices.
What Makes This Role Unique:
● Build the schedule that works for you – Choose shifts across multiple offices near North Babylon to fill out your week exactly the way you want it
● Uncapped, flexible earning potential – The more days and offices you cover, the more you earn — your income scales with your availability
● Convenient, commutable locations – All offices are within a reasonable radius, so you can float between practices without long drives eating into your day
● Full clinical support – Walk into fully staffed offices with hygiene, assistants, and front desk support already in place, so you can focus on patient care
● Modern Infrastructure – Access to modern equipment, digital workflows, and a large patient base across all locations
● No admin headaches – Scheduling, marketing, insurance credentialing, and billing are handled for you
What You'll Do:
● Provide comprehensive general dentistry (exams, restorative, endo, extractions, and more depending on your comfort level and scope)
● Deliver consistent, quality patient care across multiple Smilist locations
● Step in flexibly to cover patient demand where and when it fits your schedule
What We're Looking For:
● DDS/DMD from an accredited dental school
● Active NY dental license
● Comfortable treating a broad scope of general dentistry procedures
● Reliable, patient-focused, and excited about a flexible, multi-office schedule
● Willingness to travel between offices in Nassau and Suffolk County
