Duties
Perform thorough patient assessments, including dental examinations, medical history reviews, and oral health evaluations using advanced medical imaging techniques.
Deliver a wide range of dental treatments such as general dentistry procedures, dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery with precision and care.
Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate diagnoses and treatment plans effectively with patients and team members.
Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols diligently to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Maintain detailed and compliant medical documentation and dental records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Conduct patient education on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options to promote long-term oral health.
Collaborate with the dental team in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures.
Skills
Proficiency with dental practice management software Eaglesoft for scheduling, documentation, and billing.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and dental terminology to accurately diagnose and treat diverse cases.
Experience in pediatric dentistry and pediatrics-specific procedures to cater to young patients effectively.
Expertise in performing dental fabrication procedures including crowns, bridges, dentures, and other prosthodontic appliances.
Skilled in performing complex procedures such as root canal therapy, dental extractions, endodontics, and oral surgery with aseptic technique.
Familiarity with infection control standards and medical imaging techniques essential for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to ensure positive patient experiences from assessment through follow-up care.
