Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, in a correctional setting. Duties
Perform general dentistry procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, and prosthodontics.

Conduct oral surgery procedures such as dental extractions.

Assess patient needs through thorough patient evaluations, utilizing medical and dental terminology for accurate diagnosis.

Utilize dental imaging technology and anatomical knowledge to develop effective treatment plans.

Maintain strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and comply with HIPAA regulations.

Document all patient interactions accurately in medical records, ensuring compliance with dental documentation standards.

Collaborate with dental assistants in four-handed dentistry to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures.

Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment options, and post-procedure care to promote long-term dental health.

Requirements
Valid Maryland state license to practice dentistry as a General Dentist.

Proficiency in existing dental software.

Experience in restorative, prosthodontics, and oral surgery preferred.

Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to dentistry.

Demonstrated ability in patient care, patient assessment, and medical records management.

Familiarity with infection control standards and aseptic techniques within a dental setting.

Prior experience working in a busy dental clinic or office environment is highly desirable.
