Responsibilities
Provide thorough dental examinations, diagnosis, and treatment planning for patients of all ages, including pediatrics and adults
Perform a wide range of dental procedures such as dental restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, implants, prosthodontics, orthodontics, and oral surgery
Utilize dental imaging technology and medical imaging tools to assess oral health accurately and develop effective treatment strategies
Maintain detailed and compliant medical documentation in accordance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations
Ensure infection control protocols and aseptic techniques are rigorously followed to uphold the highest standards of patient safety
Communicate clearly with patients about diagnoses, treatment options, and post-care instructions using dental terminology that is accessible and reassuring
Collaborate with dental assistants in four-handed dentistry to optimize workflow efficiency and patient comfort
Stay current with advancements in general dentistry practices, including endodontics, pediatric dentistry, dental implants, and orthodontics
Qualifications
Valid state dental license with eligibility to practice as a General Dentist
Proven experience in dental office or clinic settings with proficiency in Dentrix
Expertise in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, oral surgery, endodontics, orthodontics, and pediatric dentistry procedures
Familiarity with infection control standards and aseptic techniques in a clinical environment
Excellent client communication skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively and provide compassionate care
Experience with dental fabrication processes is a plus but not required
Commitment to adhering to HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of patient information
