Overview

This is a 1099 position.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental histories, to accurately diagnose oral health conditions.
Perform a wide range of dental procedures such as dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics (depending on comfort level).
Utilize advanced dental technology and medical imaging tools to support precise diagnoses and treatment planning.
Collaborate with assistants and office staff to ensure seamless patient care using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Maintain detailed and compliant medical documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare standards.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and preventive care strategies to promote long-term dental health.
Adhere to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
Valid state dental license with eligibility to practice as a General Dentist.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and healthcare diagnosis procedures.
Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages, including pediatrics; experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws to ensure compliance in all patient interactions.
Skilled in medical documentation, dental fabrication processes, and client communication strategies.
Demonstrated commitment to infection control standards and aseptic techniques within a clinical setting.
