Southwest Pediatric Dental is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and patient-focused General Dentist Limited to Pediatrics to join our growing team in St. John, Indiana and Orland Park, Illinois. This full-time opportunity offers a consistent five-day work week, an established patient base, and the opportunity to provide exceptional dental care in a practice dedicated exclusively to children.

Our team provides comprehensive pediatric dental care in a welcoming, child-friendly environment while utilizing evidence-based behavior management techniques and collaborating closely with parents to ensure the highest quality care. The practice offers preventive, restorative, and sedation services and welcomes PPO, HMO, and Medicaid patients.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive general dental care for pediatric patients

Perform preventive, restorative, and emergency dental procedures

Diagnose dental conditions and develop individualized treatment plans

Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene, nutrition, and preventive care

Utilize age-appropriate behavior guidance techniques to create positive patient experiences

Collaborate with hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to deliver exceptional patient care

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Uphold the highest standards of patient safety, ethics, and quality care

Qualifications

DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school

Active dental license (or ability to obtain licensure) in Indiana and/or Illinois

DEA registration (or ability to obtain)

Current CPR/BLS certification

Experience treating pediatric patients is strongly preferred

Passion for providing exceptional care to children and creating positive dental experiences

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills

Commitment to clinical excellence and compassionate care
