Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our vibrant dental team. Responsibilities
Perform thorough patient assessments, including oral examinations and medical history reviews, to develop personalized treatment plans.
Deliver a wide range of dental services such as dental cleanings, restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures.
Utilize dental terminology effectively to explain diagnoses and treatment options clearly to patients.
Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinic policies.
Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols diligently to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Operate dental imaging equipment and interpret results to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Collaborate with the dental team using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
Stay current with advancements in general dentistry practices, including endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry, to provide high-quality care.
Qualifications
Valid state license to practice dentistry as a General Dentist.
Proven experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment; familiarity with dental office software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control standards.
Proficiency in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontic procedures, and other general dentistry treatments.
Experience with pediatric dentistry and oral surgery procedures is a plus.
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively and communicate treatment plans clearly.
Ability to adhere to HIPAA guidelines and maintain confidentiality of medical records and personal information.
