Job Description
GENERAL DENTIST – LOCUM TENENS.
We are seeking an experienced General Dentist for an urgent locum opportunity. This position offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule and the potential for a longer-term assignment.
SCHEDULE:
Monday–Friday.
8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
Start date: ASAP, approximately 1–2 weeks after credentialing.
Assignment length: 3–12 months, with option to extend.
Preference for a 6–12 month commitment.
POSITION DETAILS:
General Dentistry.
Approximately 16–18 patients per day.
Must be comfortable treating patients ages 5 through adult.
EPIC Wisdom EMR.
Complex cases can be referred out as appropriate.
CLINICAL SERVICES:
Fillings.
Extractions.
Root canals.
Crowns.
3D printing.
General restorative and comprehensive dental care.
Complex cases will be referred out.
REQUIREMENTS:
Active dental license preferred due to the urgent need.
Candidates must have no malpractice claims due to insurance enrollment requirements.
Providers needing licensure may be considered if the licensing process can be expedited.
Client has a contact with the dental board to assist with the licensing process if needed.
TRAVEL & LODGING:
Travel and lodging covered by the client.
Urgent need – qualified and available providers are encouraged to apply.
