Job Description
General Dentist – Maternity Leave Coverage
Redlands, CA | November–December 2026 | Part-Time or Full-Time
ViVE Dental is seeking an experienced, patient-centered general dentist to provide maternity leave coverage from November through December 31, 2026, with the possibility of an ongoing part-time associate position for the right fit.
We are a relationship-focused general dental practice that emphasizes patient education, prevention, thoughtful treatment planning, and high-quality care. Our office maintains a more relaxed pace than many high-volume practices so our doctors have time to educate patients, answer questions, and provide attentive care without feeling rushed.
Schedule
When patient demand supports a full schedule:
Monday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
Tuesday–Thursday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM–1:00 PM
The position may be part-time or full-time depending on candidate availability and patient demand. Because our schedule can fluctuate, there may occasionally be shorter days, half-days, or days that are not scheduled when patient volume is light. We will make every effort to communicate scheduling needs in advance.
Compensation
30% of adjusted production or an $700 full-day guarantee, whichever is greater.
The daily guarantee will be prorated for scheduled partial days.
Clinical Scope
Primarily bread-and-butter general dentistry, including:
Exams and treatment planning
Restorative dentistry
Crowns and bridges
Emergency care
Patient education
Routine general dental procedures
Experience with Invisalign, simple extractions, and uncomplicated root canal therapy is a plus, but not required.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a dentist who:
Has at least 2 years of clinical experience
Provides compassionate, high-quality patient care
Communicates clearly and builds trust with patients
Takes time to educate patients and explain treatment recommendations
Practices thoughtful and ethical treatment planning
Works well with an established team
Is comfortable working independently
Values quality of care over high-volume dentistry
Is comfortable with some flexibility in the clinical schedule
This is a great fit for a dentist who enjoys building patient relationships and prefers practicing in an environment where quality, education, and patient care take priority over volume.
Temporary position: November 2026 through December 31, 2026.
Potential for an ongoing part-time associate position afterward.
