Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate General Dentist to join our vibrant dental team. Duties
Perform thorough patient assessments, including dental examinations and medical history reviews, utilizing dental terminology and medical documentation standards.
Diagnose oral health issues and develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate general dentistry procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and endodontics.
Conduct various dental procedures including restorations, crowns, bridges, implants, and oral surgeries using aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
Utilize dental imaging technology and medical imaging tools to accurately diagnose conditions and plan treatments.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by maintaining accurate medical records and safeguarding patient confidentiality at all times.
Educate patients on oral health practices, preventive care, and treatment options to promote long-term dental wellness.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and office staff to deliver seamless patient care through four-handed dentistry techniques and effective communication.
Experience
Proven experience working in a busy dental clinic or dental office environment with a strong foundation in general dentistry procedures.
Proficiency in using dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and billing purposes.
Demonstrated knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles for treating children effectively and compassionately.
Hands-on experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery procedures.
Familiarity with infection control standards and aseptic techniques essential for maintaining a safe clinical environment.
Ability to interpret medical terminology accurately for comprehensive patient assessments and documentation.
Strong understanding of anatomy knowledge related to the oral cavity and surrounding structures to ensure precise diagnoses and treatments.
