General Dentist – Orthodontic Debond Days (Part-Time/Per Diem)

Hawaii Smile Designs Orthodontics is seeking a licensed General Dentist to assist with orthodontic debond appointments 1–2 days per month at our busy, patient-focused orthodontic practice.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dentist seeking supplemental income with a flexible schedule in a well-established specialty practice.

Responsibilities:
Remove orthodontic brackets and adhesive following completion of treatment
Polish teeth after debonding procedures
Evaluate enamel surfaces and ensure proper finishing
Provide patient education regarding post-treatment care and retainer use
Document treatment completion and clinical findings
Collaborate with the orthodontic team to ensure an exceptional patient experience
Qualifications:
DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
Active Hawaii dental license in good standing
Excellent clinical skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and patient care abilities
Experience with orthodontic debond procedures is preferred but not required
Position Details:
Part-time / Per Diem
Approximately 1–2 days per month (days are currently set through 2027 with possible add-on days)
