Job Summary :
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly General Dentist to join our dental team. Days are negotiable. with minimum of 3 years of experience.The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for dentistry, with expertise in managing adult and young patients and delivering comprehensive oral health care. In this role, you will provide specialized dental services tailored to both adults and children, ensuring their comfort and safety while adhering to all relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
Duties
Perform dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning using advanced dental terminology and medical documentation practices.
Conduct dental procedures including Restorations, Prosthodontics and Periodontics.
Comfortable working with children to have special focus on pediatric dentistry and simple surgical and wisdom teeth extractions.
Utilize electronic health record systems such as open dental to document patient assessments, treatment plans, and medical records accurately.
Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to maintain a sterile environment during all procedures.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess patient needs, provide oral surgery when necessary, and ensure comprehensive patient care.
Educate patients and their guardians on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options in an engaging manner suitable for pediatrics.
Maintain knowledge of state healthcare regulations, HIPAA compliance, and medical imaging standards relevant to pediatric dentistry.
Support the dental team by practicing four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize efficiency and patient comfort.
Qualifications
accredited institution with specialization or significant experience in pediatric dentistry.
Valid state dental license with certification in pediatric dentistry preferred.
Proficiency in using practice management software such as Open dental ,Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
Demonstrated expertise in oral surgery, endodontics (including root canal therapy), and dental fabrication techniques.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy related to pediatrics, infection control procedures, and HIPAA regulations.
Experience working in dental clinics or healthcare settings that serve pediatric populations is highly desirable.
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively while maintaining a compassionate approach.
