Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice in a part-time capacity. The position will be start as two days per week, but will eventually turn into three as we continue to grow. Dentistry of the Ozarks is a private dental office with strong commitment to the community, our patients and delivering the highest quality work. The office has a very well trained and supportive staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to perform a variety of dental procedures. 1+ years of experience is preferred, but not necessary for the right fit. Excellent communication skills are required and endo experience is a huge plus. As a Dentist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating oral health issues while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive oral examinations and diagnose dental conditions
Develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
Perform various dental procedures, including but not limited to oral surgery, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
Ensure a clean and safe environment by adhering to aseptic techniques
Collaborate with dental hygienists and other staff members to provide exceptional patient care
Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities
Experience
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution
Valid state dental license to practice dentistry
Experience in a dental clinic setting preferred, with familiarity in areas such as prosthodontics, oral surgery, and root canal therapy
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality
Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients
