Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our vibrant dental team. Duties
Perform thorough dental examinations, including patient assessment and diagnosis using medical imaging and dental terminology.
Deliver a wide range of dental services such as dental restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and dental implants.
Utilize dental software systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix to document medical records accurately and maintain HIPAA compliance.
Conduct patient consultations to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and procedural steps clearly and confidently.
Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Collaborate with dental assistants in four-handed dentistry to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures.
Stay updated on state healthcare regulations and adhere to all legal requirements related to medical documentation and patient care.
Requirements
Valid state license to practice dentistry with current credentials in good standing.
Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient care.
Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, infection control standards, and healthcare diagnosis procedures.
Expertise in performing complex procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, oral surgery, prosthodontics, orthodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages, including pediatric dentistry cases.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws to ensure compliance at all times.
Experience working in a fast-paced dental clinic environment with excellent client communication skills.
