Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our vibrant dental team. Responsibilities
Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics.
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental histories, oral examinations, and diagnostic imaging.
Utilize advanced dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for accurate medical documentation and record keeping.
Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to maintain a safe clinical environment.
Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry to improve efficiency and patient comfort during procedures.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.
Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of all medical records and patient information.
Qualifications
Valid state license to practice dentistry with current DEA certification if applicable.
Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental terminology and medical terminology.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical imaging, infection control standards, and dental fabrication techniques.
Experience with pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics (root canal therapy), prosthodontics, and pediatric care is highly desirable.
Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft or Dentrix.
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs accurately and develop effective treatment plans.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation best practices.
