Overview

Conduct dental procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and dental implants with precision and adherence to aseptic techniques.
Manage patient records accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws, ensuring confidentiality and proper documentation of medical history and treatment progress.
Collaborate with patients to communicate treatment options clearly, addressing concerns and providing education on oral health maintenance.
Maintain infection control standards through rigorous sterilization protocols and adherence to OSHA guidelines.
Utilize practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling, billing, and medical documentation purposes.
Stay current with advancements in general dentistry, including endodontics, pediatric dentistry, and dental fabrication techniques to provide the highest quality care.
Skills
Extensive knowledge of dental diagnosis, medical terminology, anatomy, and infection control practices.
Proficiency in using dental office technology including Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, and other electronic health record systems.
Skilled in performing a wide range of dental procedures with attention to detail and patient comfort.
Strong client communication skills to foster trust and ensure patient understanding of treatment plans.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of care through four-handed dentistry techniques.
Familiarity with healthcare diagnosis processes and medical imaging interpretation related to oral health.
Knowledge of HIPAA compliance, state healthcare regulations, and medical documentation standards necessary for legal and ethical practice.
Experience working within a dental clinic or office environment that emphasizes infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
