Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities
Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and dental implants
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, clinical examinations, and diagnostic imaging using advanced equipment
Develop individualized treatment plans based on accurate dental diagnosis and patient needs while explaining procedures clearly to ensure informed consent
Maintain meticulous medical documentation and update electronic health records using dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix
Follow strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during all procedures
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and office staff to deliver seamless patient care through four-handed dentistry techniques
Stay current with state healthcare regulations, HIPAA compliance standards, and advancements in dental technology and techniques
Experience
Proven experience working in a busy dental clinic or healthcare setting with a strong understanding of general dentistry practices
Proficiency in dental software platforms such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and billing purposes
Hands-on experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy (endodontics), oral surgery procedures, and prosthodontic treatments
Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles for treating young patients with compassion and patience
Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and anatomy knowledge relevant to oral health diagnostics
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients of diverse backgrounds while providing client-centered care
Commitment to infection control standards and maintaining accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations
