Job Summary
Friendly boutique dental office is looking for a general dentist to join our team. We are seeking a skilled Dentist to work on THURSDAYS from 9-5pm. The ideal candidate will provide quality dental care to patients while ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
Duties
- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals and crowns
- Conduct routine check-ups and cleanings
- Educate patients on oral health care and preventive measures
- Interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
- Manage patient treatment plans
- Maintain accurate medical records using Curve software
- Adhere to infection control protocols in the dental office
- Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to provide comprehensive care
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- State license to practice dentistry
- Proficiency in medical documentation and record-keeping
- Experience with medical imaging techniques for dental diagnostics
- Knowledge of oral surgery procedures and techniques
- Familiarity with dental terminology, medical coding, and insurance billing practices
- Previous experience in a dental clinic or office setting is preferred
- Specialization or interest in pediatric dentistry is a plus
