Job Overview
Looking for a dentist for hygiene exams for Wednesdays.
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our vibrant dental team. Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat various dental conditions using current clinical practices and techniques.
Perform dental procedures including restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery with precision and care.
Conduct patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, to develop personalized treatment plans.
Utilize dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for accurate medical documentation and record keeping in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Maintain strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques during all procedures to ensure patient safety.
Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term oral wellness.
Collaborate with team members on complex cases involving pediatric dentistry, endodontics, or prosthodontics to deliver comprehensive care.
Qualifications
Valid state licensure as a General Dentist with current DEA registration if applicable.
Proven experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment with familiarity in dental terminology and medical documentation standards.
Proficiency in using dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical imaging techniques, infection control practices, and aseptic technique.
Experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics procedures, and pediatric dentistry is highly desirable.
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs thoroughly and communicate effectively about treatment options.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical records management to ensure confidentiality and compliance.
