Duties
Perform a wide range of dental procedures including general dentistry treatments, dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery with precision and care
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history review, oral examinations, and diagnostic imaging using advanced medical imaging tools
Develop personalized treatment plans based on accurate healthcare diagnosis and dental terminology understanding, ensuring clear communication with patients about their care options
Utilize dental office management software Dentrix to document medical records, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately while maintaining HIPAA compliance
Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to uphold the highest standards of safety and hygiene in all procedures
Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures
Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care strategies, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term wellness
Experience
Proven experience working in a busy dental clinic or dental office environment with a strong foundation in general dentistry procedures
Demonstrated proficiency with dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for medical documentation and record keeping
Hands-on experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery procedures
Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles and experience treating pediatric patients is highly desirable
Familiarity with state healthcare regulations and medical documentation standards to ensure compliance at all times
Ability to communicate effectively using medical terminology while maintaining patient-friendly explanations for diverse audiences
Prior experience in infection control practices and aseptic techniques within a healthcare setting
