Overview

Duties
Assist surgeons during hair transplant procedures by preparing surgical sites and handling specialized instruments
Sterilize and organize surgical tools, ensuring compliance with infection control protocols
Collect and document patient data, including medical history, vital signs, and treatment details using electronic health record (EHR) systems
Support patient care by providing pre-operative instructions and post-operative care guidance
Maintain a sterile environment by adhering to aseptic techniques and hospital infection prevention standards
Monitor patient vital signs during procedures to ensure safety and comfort
Assist with the setup of surgical areas, including equipment operation and troubleshooting as needed
Requirements
Proven experience assisting in surgical settings, preferably in hair restoration or cosmetic surgery environments
Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and trauma care principles relevant to surgical assistance
Familiarity with medical equipment sterilization, surgical instruments, and endoscopy procedures
Strong analysis skills for assessing patient needs and procedural requirements
Experience with hospital or ambulatory surgery center environments is highly desirable
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent is required
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and patient safety
