Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments, ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions to inform treatment plans.

Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring proper technique and adherence to infection prevention protocols.

Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term dental health.

Assist with chairside procedures in a four-handed dentistry setup, supporting dentists during various treatments.

Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using EMR/EHR systems while ensuring HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.

Manage infection control procedures by following aseptic techniques, sterilizing equipment, and adhering to healthcare infection prevention standards.

Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency with dental software (Dentrix preferred)
Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and dental equipment
Experience providing care for pediatric and adult patients
Ability to take and interpret dental X-rays
Understanding of infection control, sterilization, and HIPAA compliance
Strong patient communication and education skills
