Head Dental Assistant

Overall Responsibility:
Responsible for assisting the dentist in rendering patient care, supervising clinical staff, maintaining clinical inventory control in the office, and taking ownership as the OSHA and Radiation Safety Officer.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

Daily/Weekly/Monthly Tasks will include, but are not limited to:*
Supervise and oversee the day-to-day workflow of clinical staff
Place purchasing orders and monitor usage of dental inventory
Follow budget protocol regarding supplies and stay below office budget
Verify and submit all supply invoices to accounting department
Verify and submit Lab invoices, communicate with dental labs
Train new hire clinical team members
OSHA & Radiation Safety Officer
Enforce all OSHA & Company Safety Policies & Procedures
Retrieves 5 Star Google Reviews
Shares maintenance duties as required
In addition to these job responsibilities, the Head Dental Assistant will also perform regular Chairside Dental Assistant job duties and responsibilities
Perform other duties assigned.

Job Specifications:*
Chairside Dental Assistant certificate preferable
State of NC X-Ray Certification
High School Diploma or GED
Current CPR certification
Ability to lift 15-20lbs.
