Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) / Reception (Hybrid Role)
Our busy Oral & Maxillofacial Office is seeking an experienced Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) with strong reception skills to join our team in a dynamic hybrid role. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who enjoys both clinical and administrative responsibilities and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Position Details:
Part-time: 3–4 days per week (Tuesday – Friday)
Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Supportive and collaborative team environment
Opportunity to expand skills in both clinical and administrative areas
Key Responsibilities:
Chairside assisting for oral surgery procedures
Preparation and organization of surgical operatories
Sterilization and maintenance of instruments and equipment
Assisting with patient care, including pre-operative preparation and post-operative instructions
Primary focus on front administration
Managing phone calls and providing excellent patient communication
Maintaining accurate patient records and supporting office workflow
Confidently supporting both clinical and administrative duties as needed
Qualifications:
Certified Dental Assistant (required)
Minimum 4+ years of CDA experience required
BLS certification ( will provide training certification if you do not hold a current BLS)
DAANCE certification preferred (willing to support training for the right candidate)
Strong telephone, communication, and organizational skills
Professional, friendly, and patient-focused demeanor
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
Positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn
Compensation:

Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) – Sedation & Surgical Care
Join Our Team!
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to support patients undergoing IV sedation and oral surgery procedures in a professional and patient-focused clinical environment.
Schedule
Part-time position
Wednesdays and Thursdays
Schedule will alternate with other RN team members to provide coverage and flexibility
Responsibilities
Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after IV sedation procedures.
Record and maintain accurate vital signs and patient documentation.
Assist the surgeon and surgical team during sedation and surgical procedures.
Administer medications and IV therapies within scope of practice.
Provide post-operative patient care, education, and discharge instructions.
Respond promptly to patient needs and potential medical emergencies.
Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and sedation protocols.
Maintain emergency equipment, medications, and clinical supplies.
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a safe and positive patient experience.
Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in British Columbia.
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
Experience with IV sedation, surgical, emergency, critical care, or recovery room nursing is an asset.
Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Wages: RN wage will be matched with hospital wages
