Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring smooth clinic operations, and maintaining a welcoming environment. Assist the dentist during various procedures, including exams, cleanings, and orthodontic treatments
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available
Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when required
Provide patient education on oral health care and post-treatment instructions
Manage patient records accurately using dental management software
Support front desk duties when needed, including scheduling appointments and verifying insurance information
Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and OSHA regulations
Assist with laboratory procedures related to crowns, bridges, or orthodontic appliances
Ensure patient comfort and address any concerns throughout their visit
Skills
Proficiency with dental software for record keeping and scheduling
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental care
Ability to perform dental assisting duties efficiently while maintaining a compassionate approach
Familiarity with CAD technology for digital impressions or restorations is a plus
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple priorities effectively
