Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and wellness-minded Dental Hygienist to join us on this exciting journey. As one of the first members of our team, you’ll play an integral role in shaping the patient experience and supporting our holistic care philosophy.

Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of dental hygiene experience
A strong personal belief in holistic health and wellness
Open-minded and eager to learn – must be willing to pursue continuing education in biological/holistic dentistry
Excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to connect with and care for patients
Self-motivated, organized, and a team player who thrives in a purpose-driven environment
Skills:
Current Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in Kansas with CPR certification.

Passion for biologic, whole-body, and preventive dentistry.

Strong communication skills with the ability to educate and motivate patients.

Gentle, compassionate chairside manner that helps patients feel comfortable and heard.

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to clinical excellence.

Comfortable using digital radiography, intraoral cameras, and electronic dental records.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the doctor and team.

Strong organizational and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment.

Eagerness to learn and implement biologic dental protocols and continuing education.

Professional, positive attitude with a growth mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive periodontal assessments, dental hygiene examinations, prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and non-surgical periodontal therapy.

Educate patients on oral health, nutrition, airway health, and the connection between oral and systemic wellness.

Support Kairos Dental's biologic philosophy by following protocols that prioritize patient safety, biocompatibility, and minimally invasive care.

Obtain high-quality digital radiographs and diagnostic records while adhering to ALARA principles.

Document clinical findings, treatment provided, and patient recommendations accurately and thoroughly.

Assist in identifying treatment needs and collaborate with the doctor to develop comprehensive care plans.

Build trusting relationships with patients through compassionate, personalized care and excellent communication.

Maintain strict infection control and sterilization standards in accordance with OSHA, CDC, and practice protocols.

Prepare treatment rooms, maintain equipment, and ensure clinical areas remain organized and efficient.

Participate in team meetings, continuing education, and ongoing improvement initiatives to enhance the patient experience.

Help create a warm, welcoming environment that reflects Kairos Dental's commitment to whole-person health and outstanding service.

Support front office as needed with scheduling, patient intake, or follow-up
Collaborate closely with the doctor and team to ensure continuity of care
Contribute to creating a peaceful, supportive atmosphere that reflects Kairos Dental’s mission and values
What We Offer:
Part-time position: 2-3 days a month
