HR Medical Compliance Coordinator (Bilingual Spanish)

Platinum Home Health Care is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Compliance Coordinator to support employee medical compliance, leave administration, and regulatory documentation processes.

This role is responsible for monitoring employee medical requirements, coordinating Disability Benefits Law (DBL) and Paid Family Leave (PFL) processes, tracking documentation, and ensuring compliance with agency policies and applicable regulations.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable handling sensitive employee matters in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain employee medical compliance records, including annuals, physicals, work clearances, and related documentation
Coordinate and track employee leave requests, including DBL, PFL, medical leaves, and related follow-up documentation
Communicate with employees regarding missing, pending, or expiring compliance items
Assist employees with DBL/PFL forms and provide general process guidance
Maintain accurate tracking systems and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding items
Review medical documentation for completeness and escalate concerns as appropriate
Coordinate with HR, Compliance, Payroll, and management regarding employee leave and medical status updates
Ensure employee records remain compliant with company policies and regulatory requirements
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information
Previous administrative, HR, compliance, or healthcare office experience preferred
Experience handling medical documentation, DBL, PFL, or leave administration is a plus
Strong organizational and follow-up skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong computer and data entry skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters professionally
